What do you think? Is Clemens guilty? He's in so deep now, if the DNA off those needles come back to match him... he's off to prison. I've been saying for the last 5 years when everyone was on Barry Bonds' ass for steroids, "What about Roger Clemens?" Whatever. I do believe MLB can recoup after Bonds is found guilty, I don't know if it can when Clemens is found guilty.
Its like this, Vick goes to prison and the NFL carries on with no problem. Favre goes to prison for steroids or dog fighting and the NFL takes a huge hit for a long time.

During the steriod era, the game's best hitter (Bonds) and best pitcher (Clemens) are immersed in scandal. Personally, it does not bother me. It wasn't illegal and MLB's brass looked the other way. Why? It was exciting and profitable. So what?
Clemens and Bonds are douchebags, always have, always will and I feel the same way about them now as I did when they were not offically linked to steriods.
Here's what I don't understand from today's hearing.
McNamee's statement of giving HGH to Chuck Knoblauch and Andy Pettitte was backed up by the players.
Clemens' wife admitted to using HGH.
So Clemens' good friend, Pettitte, admits to using HGH. Clemens and Pettitte used the same trainer and now Clemens' wife admitted to using HGH. It makes no sense Clemens didn't when everyone around him — INCLUDING HIS WIFE — admitted use. C'mon.
My whole issue with the thing is why does the government care? They can make the excuse that the players are role models and blah, blah, blah. But realistically if they would spend all this time and effort and money on shit that matters like education there would be more people that looked up to realistic heroes, like parents and cancer survivors and police men. I loved Kevin Mack when I was little but I was raised to know that I could like someone and not have to emmulate their life style
